You want a website and simply want to know what it costs. Yet most agency sites list no prices, just a quote button. We find that odd. So here we lay out honestly what a website costs, including at others, with our own prices too.
There are roughly four ways to get a website. We put them side by side honestly, with the prices that really come with them.
Wix, Squarespace or Jimdo cost about €10 to €40 a month. Plus something that is never listed: your own hours. Expect dozens of hours building, writing and tinkering, and then upkeep every month. Fine if you have the time; for anyone running a business, often the priciest option that looks cheap.
Usually €500 to €3,000 one-off for a normal business site, running into many thousands at larger agencies. Watch what is not included: hosting (€10–€30/mo), maintenance (€25–€75/mo or an hourly rate) and later changes at extra cost. The site is finished on delivery day, and starts ageing from then on.
About €15 to €140 a month, depending on what is included. This is the model we offer too: no big upfront investment, with build, hosting, maintenance and changes in one monthly fee. Always ask: is content included? Who makes changes? And do I get my domain and copy if I leave?
From several thousand euros. Only relevant once your site needs to talk to other systems (stock, accounting, planning). Good custom work has a fixed price upfront; be careful with open-ended hourly billing.
Maintenance is not a luxury. A site that is not kept up becomes slow, insecure and slips down in Google. Always ask what maintenance costs, or count your own hours.
Copy. "Content supplied by the client" means: you get to write it. For many owners that is exactly why the site never gets finished.
The domain. Make sure the domain name is registered in your name, not the builder's. Otherwise you are stuck.
The exit. Ask upfront: what do I take with me if I leave? An honest answer says more than any promise.
At VoidTech you pay a fixed amount per month and everything is sorted: build, copy, hosting, maintenance, changes and being found in Google and by AI assistants.
Website Start €49/mo · Website Growth €89/mo · Website Complete €139/mo · Webshop from €119/mo · Kluswerk (for installers and quote-based trades) €189/mo.
One-off setup €195, or €0 if you pay yearly. Pay monthly or a year upfront. First year fixed, then cancel monthly. Domain in your name, and you take everything with you if you leave.
Building it yourself from about €10 a month plus a lot of your own time; having it built and maintained via a subscription from a few tens of euros a month; a one-off build usually from €500 plus monthly hosting and maintenance.
Because every project is custom, they say. That is partly true and partly negotiating room. We work with fixed packages, so we can simply name prices.
No, but count everything: your own hours, maintenance, and the cost if it brings in nothing. A site that wins clients may cost something; a site that does nothing is too expensive at any price.
Building it yourself from about €30 a month plus a lot of work; as a managed subscription from roughly €100 a month; custom work from thousands of euros.
